About us

Dr. Verhoef studied economics, theology, philosophy and the Biblical languages in Europe and USA, and earned his B.D., M.Th. and his Ph.D. in manuscript evidence. He has started Biblical works (a few local churches) and trained local men in The Netherlands, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Scandinavia, Poland, Ukraine, India, Nepal, and different muslim countries over the last twenty years. Over 60 nationals from the aforementioned countries have been trained since 2000 AD as evangelists, pastors and Bible teachers though holding Bible conferences, street preaching trips, missions travels, and by starting local churches and Bible Institutes.

E.B.I. was started in the year 2000. It is not accredited, and as a result, the state has no influence on the content of the curriculum. It is the only Bible-believing Institute in central Europe with the reformation Bible (AV 1611) as its final, written authority. All other big Bible schools and theological faculties in Europe have only themselves and other men as their authority, i.e. are in more or lesser degree humanistic in their philosophy, USE modern, apostate Bible versions published after 1880, and attack the English Reformation Bible. 

Because of this, Dr. Verhoef had to go abroad to study and gather the necessary authentic material, which is now offered to anyone who wants to learn the holy Scriptures, and, secondly, who is called of God to preach and teach God’s words in the last days.

E.B.I. falls under a local, independent, Bible-believing Baptist church in Switzerland, with the following doctrinal beliefs:

  • the absolute authority of the AV 1611
  • separation of church and state
  • autonomy of the local church
  • salvation by faith alone in the finished work of Jesus Christ
  • the eternal security of the believer
  • water baptism by immersion

To meet the need for labourers as stated by the Lord Jesus Christ in Mat.9:36-38, by:

  • teaching a sound doctrine
  • rightly dividing the Word of God
  • going out and preach to the people
